Child Friendly PC Becomes Reality

Posted: May 14, 2012 in Uncategorized

Well, it looks like Microsoft has finally broken the code to creating a child friendly computer.

The new Windows 8 software coming out this Fall now has integrated “child accounts” which will easily put limitations on what they can use the PC for and for how long.

I tried setting up Internet Explorer on Windows 7 for my niece and nephew a year ago and not only was it difficult, but it was not very effective.

It now looks like creating Windows accounts will be super simple to set up for parents and also has a great feature where parents can be sent a report of their child’s computer activity.
